It’s not possible to go on a physical ‘retreat’ at the minute so how about at home?
This is a day to restore and relax your mind, body and spirit. You will be guided in a series of mindful self-compassion practices including:
There will be a one hour break for lunch and you are encouraged to turn your phone off for the day and let the other members of your household know that you are ‘on retreat’
This is the proposed schedule – please note this is not set in stone and is just a rough guide to timings and practices.
Arrive in your space 9.30am for Tea/Coffee, Juice
10am – Introduction to self-compassion moving into silent morning.
10.30 – Compassionate bodyscan
11.15 – Mid-morning Tea/Coffee break
11.30 – Outdoor sense and savour walk (you can do this inside if you are unable to go out for any reason) – I will guide you then you do the practice yourself.
12.00 – Affectionate breathing practice
12.30 – LUNCH Savoring food practice – please have pre-prepared lunch ready perhaps Homemade Soup and Sandwiches served with Juices and Tea/Coffee
13.30 – Loving kindness meditation
14.00 – Compassionate movement
14.30 – Meditation on giving and receiving compassion
15.00 – Group discussion/closing by 4pm
