Christmas Charity Namaste mindfulness class

Now a yearly tradition my last evening mindfulness class of the year before Christmas is for charity.

This is a FREE class but I will be asking for donations.  Last year we raised £293.75 for Hospice UK. In 2016 we raised £239.50 for Syria Relief. This year the charity is Action Cancer, it will go directly to the local office here in Belfast.

The class will be a ‘Christmas special’ with some mindful chocolate eating! And for those interested we will be going for a chinese at 6.30pm in Macau (downstairs from Namaste) before the meditation! #cantwait

Please let me know if your coming for food as I need to book a table – thank you.

Christmas jumpers optional! 🙂

This event is support by Namaste Yoga Centre and everyone is welcome, please mark it in your diary.

You do not have to donate through this website you can donate directly with cash on the night.

Suggested donation is £10. Thank you.

Namaste Christmas Special Mindful Self-Compassion Workshop

The run-up to Christmas can be an especially stressful time, this workshop will help you to manage the madness! It will be practical and fun – with Chocolate meditation included!

Mindful self-compassion is the foundation of emotional healing—being aware in the present moment when we’re struggling with feelings of inadequacy, despair, confusion, and other forms of stress (mindfulness) and responding with kindness and understanding (self-compassion). Mindful self-compassion also means holding difficult emotions—fear, anger, sadness, shame and self-doubt—and ourselves, in loving awareness, leading to greater ease and well-being in our daily lives.

Mindful self-compassion can be learned by anyone. It’s the practice of repeatedly evoking good will toward ourselves especially when we’re suffering—cultivating the same desire that all living beings have to live happily and free from suffering. And as the Dalai Lama says, self-compassion is the first step toward compassion for others.

The workshop is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. It fun, practical and experiential. I’ve been running this workshop for over four years and people regularly re-attend. 🙂

Sometimes it will be possible to transfer your ticket – subject to availability. Workshops in Winter months tend to sell out so transfer is limited.

It is possible to buy a ticket as a gift, the person just needs to give the name the ticket was booked under when they check in with me on the day.

Thank you, I look forward to seeing you. Christmas Jumpers Optional 🙂
