If you’ve been following me, you know I turned 50 this year (on 8 July) and as perhaps funny challenge for a mindfulness teacher(!) I decided to do a 50 days of meditation challenge to mark the momentous occasion.
On the 8 of October to the 26 October I was online every single morning with a new meditation for my dedicated group of fellow meditators. It turned out to be a great source of joy, strength and community. It was such a success, and I was given such encouragement by the participants that I decided to keep it going... for the whole of 2025...
So starting on Thursday 2 January I will be live on zoom with a half hour meditation for all those who make it, bright and early for a brand new year...
Here's what some of those joined the original morning meditation challenge had to say about their experience:
"The morning meditations with Bridgeen were such a gentle and self-compassionate way to welcome 24 brand new hours and set your intention for self-kindness and care. Highly recommended!" 💕Fiona
"Thank you Bridgeen and all the group for this new and wonderful experience of meditation 🧘." Louise
"Thank you Bridgeen for being you and leading us all so well and so naturally. 50 days of meditation has made me happier and steadier. Now I intend to keep going until we start back in January xxx." Mary
"You have been so important in getting me up every morning bright and early!
I am so impressed with your dedication and loving kindness to everyone❤️
I will miss the morning routine for definite, the mindfulness has been wonderful and has given me that quiet time I need to think clearly about the rest of my day.
Thank you so much!!" Anne C
"Thanks, Bridgeen for the wonderful gift of 50 days meditation. It's been so beneficial, in so many ways. I wouldn't have done it on my own. I know you have been ill and it must have been hard showing up on those days, so grateful that you did 🙏 " Patrica
"None of us can make a person practice meditation we can only speak of our experiences & from mine, investing the time particularly led by Bridgeen has had immeasurable rewards. ❤️
A massive thankyou again to Bridgeen, you are truly inspirational!!! Xxx" Maureen
"Beautiful meditation this morning Bridgeen, my cousin who is the same age as me passed away unexpectedly last night and I feel the meditation gave me such strength for the days ahead. Thank you." Deborah
"Thank you Bridgeen. I've found consistency to be the challenge for me but small steps towards big changes... I'm finding that when I show up, especially for at least a few days in a row it really does help me with calmness, awareness and brain fog! I've been noticeably grounded and focused💪....certainly sets me up for the day. 🙏" Clare
As a group we discussed why the morning meditations were so beneficial and we decided that as it turns out, daily meditation is like a buoyancy aid. There will still be difficulties, illness and problems but the daily meditation is like we are wearing water wings and have that extra bit of support to cope with whatever life throws at us.
You are not alone, even a qualified and experienced meditation teacher like myself finds it difficult to consistently meditate every single morning, especially as busy mum of a three year old. But as we all found on the challenge, having a group who are ready and waiting every morning makes it a non-negotiable. Knowing there are others who are making the same commitment and who are with you each morning is just a priceless gift. So, if turning 50 has done anything for me it’s given me this and for 2025 a consistent practice!
Please click on the classes tab to sign up and I’ll see you at 7.30am (GMT) every morning! Though we will be having weekends and bank holidays off - life is all about balance with my mindfulness teaching. I'm looking forward to seeing you on zoom soon xxx.
